I find going into a new year I tend to focus on things I didn't get accomplished and forget to look back at what I did accomplish. I'll be honest, 2014 wasn't the best year for a variety of reasons Trying to plan and be excited and optimistic for 2015 is a little tough when I can only see what went wrong and what I didn't finish.
I set out to make a cute little graphic of the new Squshies we released this year and at first I was a bit disappointed that we only added 15 new animals. I thought there were more! Then I started to remember other things that happened this year and how much actually was accomplished, quite a lot! So to remind myself of what went right this year and to hopefully stir up my enthusiasm for next year I thought I'd stop and write a whole post about 2014.
We're super excited about 2014 and have all kinds of exciting ideas and plans that we can't wait to get started on but first I wanted to take a moment to look back at 2013. This post is going to a long one and full up of pictures!
We had a really amazing year in 2013. Squshies grew a lot and we learned a lot. We added a lot new critters to the shops.
It is hard to believe, but the Squshies are officially 1 year old! Beauregard made his debut March 8th, 2011 and Reginald made his March 11th, 2011. Happy Birthday Beauregard and Reginald!!!
We officially opened the Esty shop in November of 2011. For the first few months we had no idea what we were doing With the release of these 2 critters we were finally starting to get the hang of things and found direction for the Squshies. That's why we consider Beauregard and Reginald to be the official start of the Squshies. And what a year it has been!
