Boris would like for us to talk about Red River Hogs today. He gets a little upset that so many wild pigs are referred to as warthogs, just because they are more well known. He wants everyone to know that Red River Hogs are not the same as warthogs and that Red River hogs are one of the most beautiful pigs in the world.
I feel like if I keep posting about what I've been working on each week I should think up a fancy and catchy title. Workroom Wednesdays? Critter Construction Chronicles? Squshie Shenanigan Summary? I like alliteration apparently. Anyone got a good suggestion?
Of the many weeks we were away, the final week was spent in San Diego doing fun things. Yay vacation! Eventually I'll write about the other weeks too, but I have pictures of the last week so I'm starting at the end.
One of the places we visited was the San Diego Zoo! This was the first time I've visited the zoo when I was already in San Diego so I didn't have to get up super early to drive 2.5 hours to get there. They also are currently doing the night zoo for the summer so they were open about 4 hours later than usual. Extra sleep and extra zoo time! This is the first time I visited the zoo since I've been seriously making Squshies so it was fun to see the real animal versions.
I got behind on the blog again. Bad me. Not entirely my bad blogging skills this time. Some last minute cat sitting had me away from home all week so I didn't have my regular computer access. Not having the distraction of the internet though made for a very productive week of sewing. Anyways enough about how I'm terrible at blogging, time for new Squshies!
